Custom Framing
The way a piece of art is framed will absolutely make it or break it. With that said, in addition to lighting, framing presentation is the most important element of art display.
The ability of the framer to tell the story of the art in its presentation without allowing the frame or mats to overplay the art is crucial.
Too often I find that art framed at the local box store is obscured by large loud-colored mats or gives the viewer snow-blindness from the field of glaring white mats. Better to give the art the center stage is our motto.
Most custom framers will do the odd job or the job most box stores won't do such as replace broken glass. We have even customized a moulding that came in from the manufacturer more green than the sample. We sanded down the finish and repainted the panel design emphasizing the pink which is just what the customer wanted!
Customers bring us some of the most interesting projects: Not only do we frame our share of signed sports jerseys, but we've shadow boxed signed game shoes and gloves as well. For our customers with memorabilia, we've framed a wedding cake topper from the wedding 50 years ago for their anniversary celebration.

Other projects include mardigras masks, a butterfly collection, a collection of Indian artifacts as well as a belly dancer's costume, a pair of grandpa's baby shoes, not to mention a Harley-Davidson guitar pick and Joose's silver belt buckle from a 100 mile Endurance Ride!.

Just about anything can be a candidate for custom framing!
