Joose Art
View
this Collection
Joose prefers to let the canvas be part of the painting process. She often paints the images that reveal themselves through her imagination. She finds this process of discovery is more challenging than painting from a sketch or photograph because it requires her to engage the art in a conversation of sorts. But even in the painting of more typical subjects, she applies the brush stroke and color to capture the life within the subject matter. And in so doing, the result is made uncommonly beautiful because in some way it surpasses the common reality.

Virginia Larrea-LaTourrette - Painter
View
this Collection
Virginia's pastel studies have been regular sellers at the gallery for several years. Lately she has added small oil paintings to her repertoire. Most of her pieces are done on location with little to no studio work on them. This keeps her plein air pieces fresh and vibrant since she must work quickly to capture the light. More of her work can be seen at her site: www.viriginialarrea.com.

Prints
View
this Collection
The prints in this section are mainly printed one at a time by a method using ink-jet technology, called giclee. Giclee - pronounced jee clay' - comes from a French word that means "little squirt". The high quality of the inks and the substrates (canvas or papers) used in giclees will stay true over the years without fading or changing color. We at Great Art & Frame stand behind all of our prints as being of the highest quality printed by a master printer with archival pigments on the best papers and canvas available.

Customized Art Decor
View
this Collection
Occasionally the right piece is not to be found, which is when we will custom make the art for the client. We start with what the client is working around which is usually fabric colors and decor style. We have them show us images that they like, but for some reason wouldn't work. We then incorporate those elements, whether style, size, or color, and create new art. And "Voila" they have what they were looking for!
