Created for the cover of an equestrian event program, this original watercolor captures the thrill of horse and rider soaring over the jumps melded as one. A suede mat in dark blue serves to separate the furniture quality frame from the fine wood fillet (small inner frame) that surrounds the art. This treatment gives the art dimension and draws the eye to it. Conservation glass lay between the top mat and the bottom acid free mat which protects the art while revealing the soft texture of the suede.
