Using a nice big frame on a small piece can give it importance. In this case the oil painting is only 8 x 10, so we wanted to give it an important presentation since it is an original work. We selected a white linen liner with a gold lip and surrounded it with a gold and burgundy frame to really pop the piece without overshadowing the art itself.
