My customer wanted to preserve her belly dancing costume. But she was also needing something unique to hang in a wall niche. We talked over some possibilites and came up with the solution. Her costume represented years of her training and accomplishments. It was a personal, one-of-a-kind item, a part of her life that others would share when they visited her home. We cut down a black dress form and fitted the costume to it. Then she came in and showed me where she wanted the finger instruments placed. We positioned them as if she were holding her skirt and scarf while dancing. |
